Who We Are

Shamus Mahmood – CEO/MD

Shamus Mahmood has spent the last decade working as a Google Partner & Digital Marketer.

Shamus worked for a tech start up that saw growth from 0-$100 million in six short years and then went public on the New York Stock Exchange. This has led to an advanced understanding of consumer search patterns & conversion habits across the Internet.

He’s is the MD of The IMCS (Internet Marketing Consultants), a Google Partner with offices in London and Birmingham.

As an award-winning Trainer, Shamus has spent the last nine years working as a Google Partner & Digital Marketer, delivering talks across the UK including at Google (London), Chelsea FC Foundation (business incubator) and a number of Santander Breakthrough in Branch events.

Brian heads up the digital team here at the IMCs. He is a veteran digital marketing strategist with a technical background in online marketing. Having worked in the internet and tech industry both in the UK and in China, Brian brings with him valuable insights in marketing methodologies and global trends.

He is a certified digital marketing specialist having worked on some of the biggest brands and competitive industries. He is a growth-focused marketer with a portfolio of proven clients.

Rick Spitz – Advisor to the Board

Rick was a founder and CTO of ReachLocal, the leading local digital advertising company. He has served in technology roles for over 30 years.

Rick previously served as VP Software at Apple Computer, Lead VAX/VMS operating system software development at Digital, and various other technology roles.

Rick is a serial technology investor and serves as Advisor to the Board.
